Cedric Boussos started the Opticianry program as a high school junior through the Early College program. This allowed him to earn his associate degree just one year after graduating high school. He not only kept up with older college students, he excelled. At the 2022 Commencement Ceremony, he received the George J. Bourque Memorial Award, the Opticianry program’s highest academic honor. Cedric liked the Opticianry program so much that he encouraged his mother, Marie Rose, to also enroll. She graduated in 2021 and is now working as an optician.
